| Aurie has been an employee of Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona for the past 12 years. Currently, she is the Assistant Director of Title IV Compliance in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. This position entails she oversees all the Title IV programs including, but not limited to, the Federal Work Study program. As a lifelong learner, Aurie is interested in higher education and has earned four degrees in her career, the first one being an Associate's Degree in legal assisting where she learned she has a love of interpreting the law and creating policies and procedures. She then pursued an Associate's Degree and Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and finally a Master's Degree in Education. During her career, she has worked in various Human Resources roles and Financial Aid roles. She loves to volunteer in state, regional and national associations in both the financial aid and Human Resources arenas. Teaching, learning and presenting are a passion for Aurie. |
